Izocam Foamboard, produced from polystyrene raw material by extrusion method, is offered in sheet form in various sizes, edge and surface shapes, and also in different compression strength levels according to different areas of use and needs. The main purpose of use is to provide thermal insulation.

The sheets are 0.030 ≤ λ ≤ according to the declared thermal conductivity value measured at 10°C. It is in the range of 0.035 W/mK and is classified as 030 and 035 heat conductivity groups depending on this value.

Technical Properties:

• Water vapor diffusion resistance factor (μ): 90–100
• Usage temperature range: -50°C to +75°C
• Cell structure: 100% closed porous, homogeneous structure
• Water absorption: Does not absorb water, no capillary absorption
• Compressive strength: High
• Chemical resistance: Resistant to acids and bases; but it is sensitive to flue gases, methane group gases, gasoline, ether, ester and amine group chemicals.
• UV sensitivity:It is sensitive to ultraviolet rays of the sun, it should be protected from direct sunlight.
• Fire class: Class E according to TS EN 13501-1 standard

Thanks to its low thermal conductivity and high compressive strength, İzocam Foamboard can be used safely to increase energy efficiency in modern buildings.
